Gene Furr has been licensed life and health broker for over 25 years, working with Menath Insurance Agency for the last 10 years. He has spoken on Healthcare Reform to many community groups, chambers of commerce, rotary clubs and other associations. He has authored articles in publications on the status of the industry and how businesses should respond to the changes. He is currently the Nevada state president of the Association of Health Underwriters. He has educated members of the US House and Senate as well as the legislature in Carson City and serves as a member of the Nevada Insurance Commissioner’s Advisory Committee on Healthcare and Insurance and on advisory panels for various carriers.
